The Memphis Grizzlies announced they have exercised 2020-21 rookie scale team options for Jaren Jackson Jr. & Grayson Allen. Not included is Josh Jackson. Generally teams will exercise all rookie scale options at the same time, so this likely means Josh Jackson is out next year

Today was the deadline to extend a player that had two years left on his contract. Like his original contact signed in 2017, Joe Ingles has likely and unlikely bonuses as part of his new deal
If I’m correct, it would mean Joe Ingles’ extension includes $12.4M in base salary and $600K in likely bonuses, producing a $13.0M cap hit, plus another $600K in unlikely bonuses. Ok - done!

According to a league source, DaQuan Jeffries is joining the Kings as a two-way player. Wenyen Gabriel is being converted to a regular NBA contract and added to the roster. Tyler Lydon is being waived

גם אם הוא היה מכוון לאירופה בתחילת הקיץ (הוא לא), כנראה שלא היה מוצא מקום ביורוליג. הוא ינסה להשתקם בג'י-ליג ומשם להתקדם.

Suns center Deandre Ayton is facing a 25-game suspension for violating NBA’s Anti-Drug policy with a positive test for a diuretic, league sources tell ESPN. The NBA informed Ayton and Suns of looming suspension tonight
The NBPA is already preparing arbitration case to reduce or rescind penalty, based on belief positive test falls under CBA provision of ‘unintentional ingestion', league sources tell ESPN. Ayton was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft
Follow-up testing on Phoenix's Deandre Ayton showed no traces of any other banned substances, sources with knowledge of results tell ESPN. NBPA is likely to fast-track arbitration process to push for a reduction as soon as possible, per sources
Deandre Ayton statement: “I want to apologize to my family, the entire Suns organization, my teammates, partners, our fans and the Phoenix community. This was an unintentional mistake and unfortunately I put something in my body that I was completely unaware of. I do understand the unfortunate impact that this has on so many others, and for that I am deeply sorry. I’m extremely disappointed that I’ve let my team down. I will continue to work with the NBPA to go through arbitration and am hopeful of a positive resolution.”
The suspension for DeAndre Ayton will cost $2.17M. The Suns have 15 guaranteed contracts and will move Ayton to the suspended list after he misses 5 games. The Suns will be able to add a 16th player after the Memphis game on Nov. 2
