Scott Brooks says Russell Westbrook is “progressing into basketball activities” and that “things are looking good.” Westbrook didn’t play in the Wizards’ Jan 9 and Jan 11 games because of a left quad injury and is ruled out for Friday’s game against the Bucks

Scott Brooks says today’s practice was so light, he doesn’t even consider it a practice: "We don’t have a blueprint for this. We have a team that hasn’t practiced for nine days."

Scott Brooks has harped this whole availability about how difficult it will be to play after a week and a half of no practice: "If they make us play the game, obviously we have to play the game. I don’t know how we’re gonna be able to play it, but we’re gonna do the best we can."

Bradley Beal says of playing the Bucks on Friday after 11 days off and very little practice time: "That’s just a recipe for injury, honestly.”

He says the Wizards are fighting the league on it

Bradley Beal, who is the union rep for the Wizards, says he and Russell Westbrook are gonna talk to NBPA executive director Michele Roberts about having to play Friday and the potential injury risk that could come with it

Bradley Beal said he invited Russell Westbrook to come over to his house to shoot around during the time with no practice. He didn't indicate whether Westbrook actually came over or not.

"I don't know if we're allowed to do that."

נו מה שמואל, מה לא הבנת? גורם רשמי (הג׳נרל מנג׳ר) אמר לפני 5 ימים ש-6 שחקנים אובחו חיוביים לקורונה. כל מי שאובחן חיובי הונחה להישאר בבידוד לפחות 10-14 ימים. הפעם האחרונה שוושינגטון שיחקה הייתה לפני 9 ימים. כלומר - כל השישה שבבידוד עכשיו, בסבירות גבוהה (או בהכרח) הם השישה שנדבקו. אף אחד לא אמר שאבדיה נדבק כי הם החליטו לא לפרסם באופן רשמי מי נדבק ומי לא. אבל אתה יכול להסיק כאמור.
