Denver has agreed to a contract buyout with G/F Jordan McRae. The Phoenix Suns are the likely destination for McRae
The smart play for Phoenix is to put a waiver claim in for Jordan McRae and inherit his early bird rights. McRae has a $1.7M FA cap hold that the Suns can take advantage of and still have ample cap space. Phoenix currently sits no. 10 in the waiver claim order

Lakers will waive G Troy Daniels, agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN. Two sides had been working together to find a solution that will give Daniels an opportunity elsewhere, and also give Lakers an open roster spot into March
Bartelstein tells ESPN: “Rob (Pelinka) and Kurt (Rambis) were fantastic in giving Troy optionality based upon all the scenarios that could play out in the coming weeks.”
As Vogel told reporters, Lakers have no imminent plans to add another player. They still plans to meet w/ Dion Waiters, per source, but now Lakers can react should an injury occur, or perhaps add another ballhandling guard/playmaker later. Rob Pelinka plans to take his time

Free agent Anthony Tolliver has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources tell @The Athletic @Stadium. Multiple teams made offers as well; Grizzlies have need with injuries in frontcourt
As part of his buyout with Sacramento, Anthony Tolliver gave back $144,901- the same amount to a 10-Day Contract. Because Tolliver was on a vet minimum, Sacramento will still have a cap hit of $1.6M and will receive minimal savings from the buyout

Jordan Bell is not postseason eligible because he was waived on March 2. Because Anthony Tolliver didn't clear waivers until 5PM today, the Grizzlies couldn't afford to waive Bell on Sunday, only for Tolliver to be claimed by another team
