השאלה פה היא כמה הם יבואו אחד על חשבון השני. הארדן הוא 2 באופן עקרוני, אבל אני חושב שהוא מוציא את המקסימום מעצמו דווקא מעמדת הרכז, ומהבחינה הזאת יש התנגשות ברורה עם קיירי (כמו שהיה עם כריס פול, עם ווסטברוק וכ׳ו). גם הגנתית יכולה להיווצר בעיה לא קטנה, בעיקר בקו האחורי. אופטימלית - לדעתי היה עדיף עבורם (עבור הנטס) ששלושת הסופרטארים ״יפוזרו״ בין הקו האחורי לקו הקדמי. נניח בעמדות 1, 3 ו-5. אבל אלו צרות של עשירים, ונשאיר להם להתמודד עם זה לבד בהצלחה לסטיב נאש ומייק ד׳אנטוני (והחבר סטודמאייר). ולג׳נרל מנג׳ר כמובן, שון מרקס, שצריך לנסות לעבות הסגל עד הפלייאוף.

יש להם איך לשלם לשחקנים בשוק החופשי (חריגת שכר של 5.7 מיליון דולר ואחת נוספת באותו סכום שהם צפויים לקבל בהמשך העונה בעקבות הפציעה של ספנסר דינווידי). אבל אין כל כך מציאות כרגע. בהמשך העונה, בסמיכות לטרייד דדליין (25 במרץ), עשויות להיפתח אופציות (בעיקר שחקנים וותיקים שיגיעו להסכמי בייאאוט עם הקבוצות שלהן). בינתיים יכולים להחתים שחקנים על חוזי מינימום (מובטחים/לא מובטחים).
